Social Inclusion of NEETs
The goal of this course is to introduce educators, organizations and institutions to the concept of NEETs and address the ways that the social exclusion that NEETs face can be avoided. Participants will learn about the causes and prevalence of the NEET phenomenon, as well as the dangers and risk factor for becoming NEETs. The economic and social impact on NEETs and society will be analysed and proposed methods to battle social exclusion for NEETs will be discussed with the participants. After the end of this course, participants will have a better understanding of the concept and dangers of the NEET phenomenon and they will have improved their knowledge about different methods and approaches between countries that can help avoid social exclusion for NEETs.

The methodology that is going to be used in order to introduce the problem of social exclusion for NEETs is based on collaborative and participative learning and aims to activate the participants in the learning process. The methodology includes lectures, presentations, videos, workshops and case studies of examples in different countries.
This course is targeted at educators, organizations and institutions that want to learn more about NEETs and the dangers they face and want to take actions to reduce the NEET phenomenon.
